/r/antsBuenos Aires, collected in my garden, these make colonies in the dirt and I'm pretty sure the get into the cement too. They are completely and very black (not shiny at all) and have red fangs. Its head is the biggest segment and it also has some spikes on it. That's the best I managed to take of it.

/r/antsWas feeding my Camponotus Nigriceps colony and noticed the queen had an egg stuck to her. They always hide the eggs under the rest of the brood so it's nice to see evidence of recent laying.
