Just finished my first low-cost kratky build! Basil, Parsley, and Cilantro
/r/hydroThe first time-lapse I made with my Raspberry Pi
/r/hydroUpdate: “Thai basil from seed” ... topped it at the 2nd node as most of you were suggesting. Wanted to share the result and some roooots. Thanks for the advice, all.
/r/hydroCutting with first roots put into Kratky container - six days later and we have roots!
/r/hydroWhat do you know of that doesn't grow in hydro? Here's a funny video I found of a guy trying out Kratky carrots.
/r/hydroWeek #8, Peppers on rockwool
/r/hydroBlossom end rot?
/r/hydroI wanted to wait until a bit of growth with a clip on my Dutch bucket system. Thanks a lot to all that helped! Mostly hot peppers of which some are still small, melon, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cucumbers. 26L buckets with clay ballsx4, perlitex2 and RDWCx1. Buckets have 3 layers of paint.
/r/hydro2.5 weeks of DWC! Feels like years when I check every few hours but short when comparing pictures. Vertically stunted due to lights hanging too low for too long but they're slowing stretching. Too crowded, too. Will try to get some outside soon. Aji Confusion, Reaper, 7pot Bubblegum, Habanero..
/r/hydroMelon update - approx 2 weeks of growth since transfer from soil.
/r/hydroIs this too much water?
/r/hydroCucumbers in kratky, moved to larger container, is this root rot? (More details in comments)

/r/hydroClean roots. No products
/r/hydroI made a planter box for my outdoor hydroponics! A PVC pipe connects two buckets for a central fill point. It also has a solar powered air pump. More pics linked in the comments.
/r/hydroThis little pepper plant did not grow enough roots in the indoor DWC to reach the water like its siblings so I took it out and just placed it into a perlite Dutch bucket (thin layer of clayballs) without hardening off- just covered by an upside down pot with some holes as sun shade. It's alive!
/r/hydroNot the fastest but for 19 days from a cutting with minimal rooting to a bushy plant I'm pretty happy! Let's see if I can apply to the big basil leaf club one day. Outdoor Dutch bucket, clay balls, 24h pump, slowish drip, 26L buckets.
/r/hydroFirst Kratky experience, so far so good! Amazing what a little mason jar can do.
/r/hydroThese things really take off once they get going
/r/hydroFinally finished my Kratky shelves. Now if I could just find more mini bottles...
/r/hydroMint cuttings almost ready for NFT
/r/hydroOvernight time lapse of my Kratky Korner in the basement. Tomatoes and leafy greens
