I'm the fire chief of a volunteer fire department. For the last 26 years a week before Prom night , our fire department has done a drunk driving vehicle accident simulation for the students to show them what happens during a drunk driving accident. We are 26 years fatality free so far.

Today is my handsome elderly Sampson’s Sweet 16th birthday...112 in dog years. He sucks on that blankey; I’ve mended it a million times. He’s survived chronic pancreatitis, acute bleeding episodes, arthritis, and we lost his best friend/dog roommate last year. He’s a trooper who has my whole heart.

I struggled with having grays at a young age.I became embarrassed because classmates would point at them,so I started dying my hair black. 3 years ago I decided to stop using dye and let my hair grow. I wanted to embrace my grays and encourage others to do the same. It’s ok to have grays at any age
